Delaney Muir

Director of Recruiting

Born and raised in Central Florida, Delaney Muir brings a people-centric approach and endlessly positive attitude to everything that she does.  In 2019, she graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, and started off her career in hospitality in a range of roles that allowed her to hone her professional skills, including an internship with the Walt Disney Company and positions in leadership, human resources, training, and onboarding with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. 

After nearly a decade in the theme park sphere, she followed her passion for helping people to find their career path, and began her journey with New York Life in January of 2026, assisting Managing Partner Michael Grinnon in recruiting for the Orlando General Office.  Delaney is thrilled to now support Michael Grinnon in recruiting for Greater DC, finding and guiding strong candidates in taking their first steps towards their life-changing careers with New York Life.

Outside of work, Delaney loves film, writing, and traveling with her wonderful husband and forever adventure partner, Maverick.  The two of them plan to achieve their goal of visiting every Disney park on the planet by 2028.  With their adorable chihuahua/dachshund mix Ahsoka and beloved tuxedo cat James Bond, Delaney and Maverick find adventure in every moment of married life.
